These days, Brad Hompe can usually found working at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections (WI-DOC), where he currently serves as a Corrections Complaint Examiner and Investigator. Throughout his long service with WI-DOC, Brad Hompe has shown he is capable of doing nearly anything related to jails and prison operations. That’s because he worked his way up through the ranks, from the position of corrections officer, all the way to deputy warden and, eventually, a warden, stopping at every step along the way.
Brad Hompe has a tremendous amount of experience in nearly every aspect of jail and prison operations. In addition to leading jails and prisons in their development and implementation of effective corrections programs, Brad also has provided a wide range of services for facilities in the Wisconsin system, as well as systems all over the country. He is considered an expert in part because he has done it all and he has experienced everything, including food service, sanitation and maintenance, as well as classification, supervision and even fire safety.
